How the PD-132 12V Loop Detector Works

The PD-132 operates together with an inductive loop cable installed underneath the road surface.

When a vehicle passes over or stops above the loop, the metal mass of the vehicle changes the inductance of the loop. The PD-132 detects this change and activates its relay output.

The relay output can then provide a command or vehicle-presence signal to a compatible automatic gate, parking barrier or access control controller.
