Passive UHF RFID Access Card
The UHF RFID card uses passive RFID technology, which means no internal battery is required.
When the card enters the detection zone of a compatible UHF RFID reader, energy transmitted by the reader activates the RFID chip and allows the stored identification information to be read.
860–960 MHz UHF RFID Card
The card supports the 860–960 MHz UHF RFID frequency range according to the product specification.
The actual operating frequency of the complete system depends on the configuration of the UHF RFID reader and applicable regional requirements.
ISO 18000-6C / EPC Gen2 RFID Card
The UHF card supports ISO/IEC 18000-6C and EPC Gen2 technology, allowing it to work with compatible UHF RFID identification systems.
Reader frequency, RFID protocol and system configuration should be checked before ordering cards for an existing installation.
Long Range RFID Card
When used with a compatible UHF long-range reader, the RFID card can provide long-distance identification compared with conventional short-range proximity cards.
Actual reading distance depends on the UHF reader, antenna gain, RF output power, card orientation, installation environment and other operating conditions.
RFID Card for Vehicle Access Control
UHF RFID cards can be used as part of a vehicle access control system for residential, commercial and industrial entrances.
Each card can be registered to an authorised user or vehicle within the compatible access control system.
RFID Card for Parking Barriers
The UHF RFID card can be used together with a compatible long-range RFID reader and automatic parking barrier.
When an authorised card is detected and validated by the access control system, an opening command can be sent to the parking barrier controller.
RFID Card for Automatic Gates
Compatible UHF RFID systems can also be integrated with automatic sliding and swing gates.
The UHF reader identifies the authorised card while the connected access controller provides the appropriate command to the gate automation control board.
Standard 85.5 × 54 mm Card Size
The UHF RFID card measures approximately 85.5 × 54 mm, similar to a standard access or identification card.
The card format provides a convenient reusable alternative where a windshield sticker or adhesive RFID tag is not required.
Reusable RFID Access Card
Unlike an adhesive windshield tag, the UHF RFID card can be carried and reused by an authorised user.
This makes the card suitable for applications where access credentials may need to be transferred, issued temporarily or managed separately from the vehicle.
UHF RFID Card vs Windshield Tag
A UHF RFID card is portable and can be carried by the user, while a UHF RFID windshield tag is normally attached permanently or semi-permanently to a vehicle windshield.
For automatic hands-free vehicle access, a windshield tag may provide more consistent positioning. For portable or reusable access credentials, an RFID card can be more convenient.
Compatible with UHF Long Range Readers
The card is designed for use with compatible UHF RFID long-range readers supporting the appropriate frequency and EPC Gen2 protocol.
It can form part of a complete RFID system using 5-meter, 6-meter, 15-meter or 20-meter readers, depending on reader compatibility and installation requirements.
