The LIFE VISIO Photocell Sensors are genuine Italian infrared safety devices designed for automatic gates, garage doors and access automation systems. With a maximum detection range of up to 20 metres, the LIFE VISIO helps detect vehicles, pedestrians and obstacles across the entrance during automatic gate operation.
Operating from a 12V / 24V DC power supply, the LIFE VISIO transmitter and receiver provide reliable infrared communication between opposite sides of the gate entrance. When the infrared beam is interrupted, the receiver sends a safety signal to the compatible gate control board.
With IP54 protection, NC + NO relay contacts and an operating temperature from -20°C to +55°C, LIFE VISIO photocells are suitable for professional residential, commercial and industrial automatic gate installations.

20 Metre Infrared Gate Safety Sensor
The LIFE VISIO provides an infrared detection range of up to 20 metres, making it suitable for a wide variety of residential and commercial automatic gate entrances.
The system consists of a transmitter and receiver installed opposite each other. An infrared beam is transmitted continuously between the two photocells during normal operation.
How LIFE VISIO Photocells Work
The LIFE VISIO transmitter sends an infrared beam to the receiver across the automatic gate entrance.
When a vehicle, person or object interrupts the infrared beam, the photocell receiver changes its relay contact state and sends a signal to the connected automatic gate control board.
The response of the gate depends on the control board programming and the safety input to which the photocells are connected.
12V / 24V DC Power Supply
The LIFE VISIO photocells operate from a 12V or 24V DC power supply, allowing integration with compatible automatic gate control systems.
The transmitter and receiver consume approximately 25 mA and 35 mA respectively.
NC + NO Relay Contacts
